Every Film, at Reference Quality.

Kaleidescape movie servers, installed, networked and ready from one remote.

The Kaleidescape family.

A Kaleidescape installation puts a player at each screen and a server in the rack: films are downloaded once, in full, and played from local storage.

    Kaleidescape Strato K

Kaleidescape's highest-fidelity player, with native 8K playback and its 4K Cinematic format.

  • A Kaleidescape Terra Prime movie server in brushed metal on black

    Kaleidescape Terra Prime

The movie server: films, series and concerts from the Kaleidescape store, kept in the rack.

  • A Kaleidescape Strato K stacked on two Compact Terra servers on black

A smaller server, here beneath a Strato K; players group with it over the local network.

How a Kaleidescape system works.

Films arrive once, in full, and play from the rack, so nothing depends on the internet when the lights go down.

  1. Downloads in full

Each film downloads to the server and plays from local storage, in full fidelity whatever the internet is doing.

  2. Lossless audio to the processor

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Dolby TrueHD reach the cinema processor without loss.

  3. One remote, one app

Kaleidescape answers to Crestron, Control4, Savant and Josh.ai, so a film starts from the same remote as the lights.

  4. In the rack, on the wired network

A wired Ethernet drop: a 4K Cinematic film downloads in as little as 15 minutes over gigabit.

  5. Lights dim when play is pressed

Press play and the lights dim and the shades close, as one scene.

A night with the library.

  1. A warm, cove-lit cinema, a film's page open on the screen above a deep sectional

    Choosing

The library opens on the screen with cover art for every title, and a film's page is one click away.

  2. A private cinema lounge with a lit screen, deep armchairs and warm cove lighting

    Lights down

Press play and the room follows: the lights dim, the shades close and the picture comes up.

  3. A tiered home cinema with lit steps and a wide screen

    The film

The film plays from the server in the rack, in full fidelity, with nothing waiting on the internet.

  4. A cinema room with a starlit ceiling and tiered recliners

    Credits

When the credits roll, one touch brings the lights back and the room is a room again.

The questions buyers ask first.

What does a Kaleidescape server add over streaming?

A Kaleidescape server downloads each film in full and plays it from the rack, so the picture and lossless sound never wait on the internet. The library is stored privately at full Blu-ray quality, with cover art for every title, and the lights and shades can follow the film.

Does a Kaleidescape system need its own network?

Not a separate one, but a wired one. The servers and players sit on wired drops of the home network we build, where a 4K Cinematic film downloads in as little as 15 minutes over gigabit Ethernet.

Can Kaleidescape play in more than one room?

Yes. A Strato player at each screen draws on the same library in the rack, and one system can hold up to four Terra Prime servers and any number of Strato players.
